Science, Technology and the Emerging Future
Converging knowledge, shaping what's next — NOVAXIS publishes research at the frontier where disciplines meet: artificial intelligence, quantum systems, future materials, and the human–machine boundary.
Editorial Position
The most consequential advances of the coming decades will not respect departmental boundaries. Quantum computing meets materials science; artificial intelligence meets neuroscience; synthetic biology meets automation. NOVAXIS exists to publish work at these intersections — research that a single-discipline journal would misjudge because it belongs fully to no single field.
We ask two things of every submission: rigour by the standards of each field it touches, and a clear articulation of why the convergence matters — what becomes possible at the intersection that was not possible within either field alone.
Machine learning, foundation models, embodied AI, and the systems that reason, perceive, and act.
Quantum computing, communication, sensing, and the engineering of coherent quantum devices.
Metamaterials, 2D materials, programmable matter, and materials discovered or designed by computation.
Brain–computer interfaces, augmentation, human-AI collaboration, and the ethics of converging technologies.
Hybrid quantum-classical pipeline reaches chemical accuracy on three benchmark sets using 40-qubit hardware; full circuit specifications and error-mitigation protocol included.
Closed-loop materials discovery: GNN-proposed candidates synthesised and tested, with 4 of 12 predictions exceeding the state-of-the-art healing efficiency.
EEG-based control validated outside the lab across 14 participants; complete signal-processing chain and artefact-rejection thresholds published for replication.
